How to Prevent Your Facebook Account from Disabled

  • by Alice

This time, I want to share about how to prevent and what to do regarding Facebook accounts being deleted, which the audience should pay attention to.
I am sharing this again because many people often come and ask about this topic. Also, on social media like Facebook and TikTok, many people are talking about this. Are the things they are saying really true? What is the real truth? What are Facebook’s policies? Why are accounts being deleted like this? I will share about these points.

Since about a day ago, on social media, some Facebook accounts have been deleted without any reason. According to Facebook’s policy, normally if an account is deleted, there is an option to recover it within 180 days. But this time, the deleted accounts do not have the option to appeal. Therefore, regarding this kind of deletion, you cannot appeal, and that means you cannot recover your account anymore.

However, there is still one method with very little chance to recover. Also, suddenly deleting many accounts like this could also be due to an error in Facebook’s system. If it is because of such a system error, then it may be possible to recover soon.

Why are many accounts happening like this?

I want to explain this. On social media like Facebook and TikTok, almost everyone is talking about this. Why is this happening? How can it be recovered? Many different opinions are being shared. Because of seeing these, I created this blog.

I do not want to comment whether what they are saying is right or wrong. I will share my own view.
First, I want to say that Facebook often conducts large-scale checks to upgrade their system and to test their security system. During such checks, accounts with suspicious activities can be deleted. This is not only Facebook; almost all social media platforms do this. But Facebook is stricter.

Why are these accounts being deleted?
There are many situations. For the accounts that were deleted, the reasons may not be the same for each one. But if we summarize the current situation, the following points are the most likely reasons:

  • 1. Using VPN
  • 2. Not enabling Two-Factor
  • Authentication
  • 3. Account profile missing required information, or even if filled completely, not trustworthy
  • 4. Frequently logging in and out on multiple devices
  • 5. Integrating untrusted third-party apps or websites without knowing
  • 6. Account behaviors that are not trustworthy

These are the points I noticed. These are what I thought of in connection with the current situation. I cannot say exactly which reason caused which case. Facebook itself also does not clearly explain why they delete. I just want you all to be careful about these points.

How to be careful and prepare:

For VPN, it is better to choose one location consistently. If possible, use a premium account. There are many differences between premium and free accounts. Premium VPNs can fully protect the user’s original location, but free VPNs cannot fully guarantee. That is a clear difference. Also, internet speed, malware, and other factors are very different.

Next, you must enable Two-Factor Authentication. There are two types: phone verification and app verification. If I recommend, use app verification. Google Authenticator is one of the safest authenticators.

Next, check your account profile information carefully. It should be acceptable information. For example, if your birth year is 2000 but your graduation date is 2010, that is not acceptable information. Why? Because a person cannot graduate at age 10. So please pay attention and fix these things.

Next, do not frequently log in and out on multiple devices. If you really need to, set those devices as trusted devices. Also, do not log in and out with many accounts on one device. Facebook has a multi-login system, but the limitation is about 5 accounts. But 5 is not a strict number. On my current phone, I have 12 accounts, and until now none have been disabled and no problems yet. This depends a lot on the user. If you are a normal user, you should not log in and out with more than 5 accounts.

Next, you should frequently check third-party apps and websites. If you are not from the tech field, you may not know the risks of these third parties. Some third-party apps and websites can steal some of your account information.

Next is your account behavior. Regarding this, there is no exact information. Facebook also does not clearly explain about account behavior. But you need to be careful. The simplest example is “Too Many Activities.” I think many of you have experienced this.

The points I explained just now can cause your account to be disabled, and also there is a chance of frequent actions being taken against you. So please pay attention to these points.

If your account is disabled, try the method I will explain now. The chance to recover is very low. But some people have recovered their accounts using this method. The method is not difficult.

Try to directly contact Facebook’s Business Help. You can contact by sending a message or calling, whichever you prefer. There, explain the details of your disabled account, provide screenshots of the disabled status, and submit an appeal letter. Then there is a chance to recover. For now, this method is the most likely method.

Final Note

Do not easily believe online claims like “I guarantee to recover your account” and so on.
